Neil and Claire’s Wedding 27th March 2016
An Easter Sunday wedding at the absolutely amazing venue of Fanhams Hall Hotel in Hertfordshire.
Claire and her ” scare”of bridesmaids, (There appears to be no official collective noun for a group of bridesmaids but one suggestion was a “scare” and trust me when there are a group of bridesmaids on a mission I am scared) were gathered in the lovely bridal preparation suite with gorgeous bay windows overlooking the loveliest gardens I think I may have ever seen. Unfortunately unlike my wedding on Good Friday where the weather was tropical, this was more tropical storm. Each time we went out for photos we were nearly blown away. The hairstylist and makeup artist were fully employed with the bridal party and did an amazing job. The hair was Tisdall’s Hair and Beauty and make up by Lightbox Make Up and their work really complimented the dress from Clifford Burr in Ware. Also of note was the more gorgeous bouquet i have yet seen and shown below, supplied by Halo Blossom.
Neil was dressed in his guards uniform, which whilst amazing to look at, it drove my camera insane with its bright redness. However that di not get in the way of a very fun day. I should point out a piece of advice to any photographers who have happened to come across this blog, always take spare trousers. About an hour in to proceedings it would appear the seam and material of my trousers was not enough to withstand the pressure of my over large posterior which decided to make and a break for freedom. As such when I was taking photographs later in the day there were more people behind me photographing and for once they were not concentrating on the bride and groom…….awkward!
As you can see from below we had a great day with lots of laughs and a gorgeous bride and groom.
