Wedding photography Competition Finalists – Hannah and Giles
Hannah and Giles entered my competition to win their Wedding Photography package. From a mass of entries they were selected to be one of the finalists. Each finalist has had a blog page created on my website and a linked Facebook post. To win the competition they must achieve the most “likes” on the Facebook post.
(It is especially important to note that whilst people are actively encouraged to share the post but it must be made clear that only likes on the original post count and this should be emphasised in the comments when it is shared, this prevents “likes” not being counted.)
Each of the finalists were asked to answer 4 set questions to give people a better understanding of the couple. Here are the questions and answers from Hannah and Giles
Question 1: WHERE AND HOW DID YOU MEET (30 WORD MAX)
Aged 18, during Freshers’ week at University. We lived in the same halls and were introduced by Giles’ school friend of many years who had a room next to Hannah’s!
Question 2: WHAT DOES EACH PARTNER LOVE MOST ABOUT THE OTHER (50 WORDS MAX)
Hannah: That every day, without fail, Giles will say or do something, however small, which makes me feel lucky to have him in my life and now, to be marrying him!
Giles: Han’s unwavering commitment, desire and positivity towards family, friends and us. She is a selfless person with a beautiful heart.
Question 3: WHERE AND HOW DID THE PROPOSAL TAKE PLACE (30 WORD MAX)
Following a 7 year anniversary weekend in Lisbon, Giles mischievously took the “wrong exit” on the motorway back from the airport to a stunning country house in Rutland. There was gin, tears (not gin induced!) and a Michelin star meal to celebrate. Perfect!
Question 4: DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING AND WHY YOU THINK YOUR DAY WILL BE SPECIAL (150 WORDS MAX)
Hannah is a city girl and Giles a country boy (at heart!).
We knew we wanted to get married where one of us grew up and after a considerable search have now decided our wedding will take place on the Suffolk coast, by the sea, where we have spent many happy hours walking Giles’ golden retriever, Barley!
Not only will the wedding be a celebration of our commitment to each other, but it will also be a unique opportunity to bring our closest friends and family together – this is significant and we want the day to be relaxed, full of happiness, love, and great food (which is very important to anyone that knows us!). We’ve grown up together and it will be truly special to be surrounded by the people that have witnessed this and played a central part in our lives, both as individuals and as a couple.
